Freedom on the water regardless of ability
Sailability Bundaberg operates most Thursday mornings (depending on weather) from the Bundaberg Sailing Club located at 66 Strathdees Rd, Burnett Heads starting at 9am.
Sailability Bundaberg:
Is a non-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers;
Is a community based organisation dedicated to providing sailing opportunities for people with a disability regardless of age, gender or level of disability;
Aims to give people with disabilities the opportunity to realise their dreams by achieving freedom on the water;
Fosters freedom on the water regardless of disability; and
Receives no government assistance and is totally dependent on the generosity of the community
Sailability is a rewarding and beneficial community service and one which offers a great many challenges to both sailors and volunteers.

We even have a Sea Eagle that flies around. You can usually see them every Thursday
If you are lucky, you can even see dolphins. This photo was taken where we sail. Sometimes the Dolphins will swim beside the boats
Volunteers are critical to the success of a program such as Sailability, and this can be a great part time interest for retired or sem-retired men and women.
